Octapeptide-2 is a novel synthetic polypeptide derived from thymosin β4 (Tβ4), exhibiting biological activity similar to that of natural Tβ4 while demonstrating enhanced stability and skin permeability. Its key therapeutic effects include:

Activation of hair follicles and hair growth stimulation: It activates hair follicle stem cells, promoting their growth, migration, and differentiation. Additionally, it stimulates the production of growth factors and enhances blood circulation within the hair follicles, thereby effectively promoting hair regeneration and improving hair density, length, and quality.

Hair Strengthening and Anti-Hair Loss: By reducing the expression of extracellular matrix degradation enzymes (such as proteases) and enhancing the synthesis of collagen, elastin, and fibronectin, this formulation reconstructs and repairs the dermal layer, creating an optimal external environment for follicular development, thereby strengthening hair roots and preventing hair loss.

Hair Quality Improvement & Anti-graying: Enhances hair resilience, provides a healthy shine, and helps prevent premature graying.  In eyelash care, it improves protein structure, increases elasticity and resilience, and reduces breakage.

Hair Growth & Scalp Care Products: Recommended concentration range is 0.5%–2.0%.  Suitable for anti-hair loss serums, scalp nourishing solutions, strengthening shampoos, conditioners, and leave-in hair care products. 

Eyelash & Eyebrow Serums: Recommended concentration range is 0.5%–1.5%.  Suitable for eyelash growth serums, eyebrow nourishing serums, and other eye hair care products.
